Fort Macquarie to Lilyfield

Here the point would be thrown to the straight and the tram would take the straight track leading down on ballast track on what is now, the continuation of Minogue Cres before crossing the stormwater channel over a steel bridge and joining Taylor St Annandale to run up to Booth St, where swinging right it followed Booth to its intersection with Catherine St Leichhardt, here it again swung right and followed Catherine St to its end on the Lilyfield railway bridge, this being the terminus for this line. (incidentally the Sydney Light Rail now terminates below this bridge, on what was the old Metrpolitan Goods Line.) The return journey follows the same route as the as the outward journey
