Tempe depot, was located on the Princes Highway near Gannon St, its present use is as a Bus and Truck Museum. The depot was constructed in the standard design used for most depots. This depot was in existence as an operational depot from  1912 to 1954. It provided trams for services on the following lines in conjunction with Fort Macquarie depot

Fort Macquarie to Canterbury

Fort Macquarie to Dulwich Hill

Fort Macquarie to Cooks River

Petersham to Hurlstone Park

Hurlstone Park to Summer Hill (This line closed in 1933)
The depot had 18 roads under cover
